PETh must be associated with the question: When was your last drink?
Beacause a PETh value below 20, can be associated with a nondrinker or with a heavy drinker who is abstinent for 3-4 weeks.

Yes the drinking pattern matters to interpret PEth correct, PEth has a half-life of six days and follow a first order of kinetic and thus roughly captured 3 to 4 weeks of average drinking.
