EASL aims to be the prime resource for education and professional development in hepatology and liver related research. EASL strives to reach the following goals:
- Provide state-of-the-art education programmes for physicians, scientists, and other professionals
- Disseminate scientific and clinical practice knowledge
- Promote multidisciplinarity
